McKinley Park Trail

The McKinley Park Trail was originally constructed in 1988.  The trail is a multi-use trail for ATV’s, snow mobiles, bikers, hikers, walkers and the many outdoor enthusiasts that live and visit the area. The trail runs from the entrance of the Soudan Underground Mine to McKinley Park.

Breitung Township is currently working on an application for a grant from the DNR Grants program and IRRR for reconstruction of the existing trail. Completion of this trail work combined with the Mesabi Trail work will result in full restoration of the trail from the Train Depot in Tower all the way to McKinley Park.
