Public Works

Maintenance Supervisor Tom Gorsma  and Maintenance Assistant Keith Mattila are responsible for over 6 miles of township roads within Breitung Township. This includes such routine tasks as snow plowing, grading, dust control, brush cutting, blacktop patching, and mowing.

The Breitung Public Works Department uses the following equipment:

• 1983 Caterpillar Grader

• 2007 John Deere 2210 Utility Tractor with broom, snow blower, loading bucket, and mowing deck

• 2010 International 7300 Dump and Plow Truck

• 2013 Ford F-350 Plow Truck

• 2015 John Deere Loader

• 2016 John Deere Z 950 M Zero Turn Lawn Mower

• 2021 GMC Sierra 2500
